First I never thought I wanted to migrate to Canada in my life. When my children grew up, I was thinking to give them a better education environment in terms of learning English language. This will help them to build a strong foundation in their language and communication skills when they enter university.
ReplyDeleteI started my immigration application in year 2007 and it took four years to process my application. I obtained my application approval in year 2011. There are few reasons why I came to Canada.
1) Children education – I believed Canada has a good education system. There are few good universities in Canada like University of Toronto, University of Waterloo, University of Queens, University of British Columbia and etc. which are globally recognized.
2) Quality of life – In Canadian culture, people do things in more systematic, well organized and structured ways. It helps you to do things easily and it makes your life easy. In Canadian culture, you tend to have more family time with your children and to build good relationship with your family members.
3) Medical benefit – In Canada, every citizen and permanent residence gets a free medical treatment regardless of your status.
4) Security – Mississauga is a safe place to stay and also there are many amenities around for your shopping convenience.
5) Social/retirement benefit – I found Canada is a caring society. It provides a lot of free training for newcomers to learn English, work skill training, library facilities, understand work culture and system. I found it is very useful for my job interview.
6) Weather – This is my first experience to have four seasons in an overseas country. It also has a very huge and beautiful lake view in Ontario.
But one thing I learnt from Canadian is that we have to work very hard in order to succeed in our life.

My husband has been here for 7 years, he loves Canada and gets used to the life here. He hoped that I could live here with him and believed that i would love Canada like him. Frankly speaking, it's an difinitely rare oppotunity for me to experience different life style, so I moved here in May last year. Next year, we will have our first baby that makes me feel i have a real family in Canada and lets me love here more and more.
